The America’s Conference on Information Systems Executive Committee (AMCIS EC) is proud to dedicate a fund and accept donations to assist with transportation, lodging and / or registration expenses for qualified candidates to attend the annual conference. This fund and scholarship program was originally created for AMCIS 2019 that celebrated AMCIS’ 25th Anniversary in Cancun, Mexico. The program has continued every year since and has awarded thousands of dollars of grants to assist doctoral students and junior faculty to attend AMCIS. The precise number and amount of the annual grants will vary depending on donation levels, location of the conference, etc.
AIS is proud to provide members with an opportunity to donate directly to Special Interest Groups and Colleges to further assist with the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars with similar professional roles or research interests. Donations may be utilized according to the discretion of SIG and College leadership for various routine expenditures, including awards and recognition items, special issues of journals, research methodologies, events, workshops, and scholarships.
