The Brazilian Association for Information Systems (BRAIS) is a Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) serving Brazil members of AIS. The goal is to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals in Brazil engaged in the development, management, and use of information and communications systems and technology.

CANAIS exists to to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals in Canada – and Canadian scholars and professionals employed in other countries – engaged in the development, management, and use of information systems and technology.
Our goal is to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals engaged in the development, management and use of information and communication systems and technology with an interest in our region. We also work as a welcoming group for new Latin American and Caribbean researchers and students when they first connect to AIS.

The Midwest USA (MWAIS) chapter of AIS serves Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The Chapter aims to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals in the Midwest US engaged in the development, management, and use of information and communications systems and technology.

The New England region Association for Information Systems (NEAIS) is a Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) serving the New England region of U.S. members of AIS. The states served by this Chapter include Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and Maine.

Southern AIS is an official chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). Since 1998, we’ve hosted an annual conference as an intimate gathering of fewer than one hundred participants in southeastern locations in the US. In 2013, we launched the Journal of the Southern Association for Information Systems (JSAIS), an annual publication covering all aspects of information systems.

Japan Chapter of AIS (JPAIS) provides a forum for members to exchange ideas related to research, practice and education in Information Systems especially from an international point of view. This chapter also aims to promote the role of IS in Japanese society.

The Korean Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (KrAIS), an outstanding AIS community, aims to promote the scholarship by facilitating its members to share ideas, research, and experiences. Any scholars and professionals with Korean heritage are welcome. Key initiatives of KrAIS include an annual research workshop at ICIS, KrAIS sessions at KMIS conferences, newsletters, and members’ website.

Malaysia Chapter AIS (MyAIS) aims to foster professional networking and social affiliation among the Information Systems (IS) community and aspires to raise the presence of the IS community in Malaysia to the global arena. MyAIS will provide consultancy on IS services/products as well as to lead and promote excellence in education, research, scholarship and practice in the IS discipline.
